About The Artist

Biography

Once a little girl, terrified of everything around her, Caitlyn Reardon became a fine arts major who used her fear to guide and mold her work into the frighteningly beautiful pieces they are today. Although much of her work revolves around creatures and unusual characters, she also loves creating landscape drawings of her home, the Pacific Northwest, where she was raised most of her life. Her love of mythology and cultural anthropology has also lent a lot of inspiration to her. She strongly believes cultural anthropology and art go hand in hand. She hopes that her art causes more people to look at the world around them with wonder and amazement and think more about the people who live there.
